Some Aspects of Post-Revolution History of Banking in Chechnya (1917-1935)

Abstract

The article examines some aspects of post-revolutionary history of banking in Chechnya in the context of simultaneous historical development of the Russian banking system. Analyzed the role of banks in the post-revolutionary restoration of economy of Russia and Chechnya. In particular, we show how the Chechen branch of the State Bank in the period of total bread hunger takes possession of the bread market, it promotes rapid recovery and the proper development of the grain trade, takes an active part in the development of industrialization of Chechnya.
