Henry Penikas obtained his doctoral degree in 2022 at the Saint-Petersburg State Economic University, domain – mathematical methods of economic analysis.
Prior to joining Bank of Russia he worked more than 10 years within risk-management and treasury units of the Russian largest commercial banks. Before coming to the Research and forecasting department he spent two years at the Banking regulation department being involved in the model validation within the Internal-Ratings-Based (IRB) approach.
Research interests: banking regulation, multivariate statistical analysis, monetary policy.
