The Situation in the Crimea Finance and Banking after October 1917

Abstract

In the Tauride province of the Russian Empire, they learned about the October Revolution that took place in Petrograd on October 25 / November 7, 1917 the next day. In the financial and banking sphere of the province, the coming to power of the Bolsheviks was perceived as a temporary phenomenon like a 'natural disaster'. Many decided for themselves that this disaster must be waited out.
